Hey, I’m Zia — a Houston-based photographer specializing in weddings, events, and portraits.
Over the years, I’ve photographed close to a hundred celebrations, milestones, and everyday moments. My style is natural, emotional, and sometimes a little nostalgic, with a focus on creating images that feel genuine rather than overly staged.
I’m comfortable working in all kinds of environments — from bright outdoor sessions to dim indoor venues, fast-moving events, and unpredictable lighting. Whether I’m using natural light, on-camera flash, or a full lighting setup, I’m always looking for the best way to work with the space and keep the final images clean, flattering, and true to the moment.
When we’re shooting, I want the experience to feel relaxed and easy. I’ll give you direction when you need it, help with posing without making things feel stiff, and step back when the real moments are already happening on their own. My goal is for you to enjoy the experience and come away with photos that actually feel like you.
WHEN I’M NOT SHOOTING
I’m usually singing, playing a little guitar, experimenting in the kitchen, or making cocktails. I’ve always enjoyed creative work in different forms, and photography is the one that lets me combine people, atmosphere, and storytelling all at once.
